First Ever Norman Rockwell Christmas Special Aired on HSN
HSN releases Christmas home collection inspired by artist Norman Rockwell’s works
Norman Rockwell Family Agency has collaborated with HSN, a leader in livestream shopping and video storytelling, to launch a special edition ‘Norman Rockwell Christmas’ collection. In a deal facilitated by IMG, the Rockwell family’s global licensing representative, the ‘Deck the Halls – Norman Rockwell Holiday Décor’ aired on HSN’s national channel on November 6 at 3pm EST.
Inspired by the iconic artist’s enduring themes of family, home and the holiday spirit, the collection includes, candles, snow globes, LED Norman Rockwell Christmas canvas prints, metal lanterns, Santa figurines, Tabletop Mainstreet Village buildings, and ‘Faithful Friends’, a book written by Margaret Rockwell, the manager of the Norman Rockwell Family Agency.
Priced between $14.95 to $36.95, the collection is available for purchase on HSN’s online retail store.
“For many, Norman Rockwell is Christmas,” says Margaret Rockwell. “When he was just a teenager, he was commissioned to paint Christmas cards. He would go on to paint Santas and Christmas scenes filled with joy and family togetherness for leading card companies and magazines over the next sixty years. His images endure and are just what we need to make the season merry and bright.”
Marianna Fundator, Senior Director of Licensing at IMG said, “This collection brings Norman Rockwell’s timeless artistry to the heart of the holiday season, capturing the joy and nostalgia of his numerous iconic Christmas paintings. We are thrilled to continue facilitating such fitting collaborations that help Rockwell’s fans and art enthusiasts alike to experience the magic of his art in new and unique ways.”
Over the last few years, the Norman Rockwell Family Agency and IMG have developed a wide-ranging licensing program that helps brands reach a global audience through authentically crafted products, services and experiences that match and leverage Rockwell’s time-honored values and sensibilities.
