One of four ATP tour stops in China – The Chengdu Open, which debuted in 2016, joins Zhuhai, Beijing and Shanghai as Chinese hosts during the ATP Tour’s Asian Swing. The venue in Chengdu boasts a modern facility with a centre court capacity of 6,000, two additional show courts with 2,000 seats each, and a total of 20 hard courts and 12 indoor courts.

Back after a three-year hiatus, the 2023 tournament welcomed an exciting mix of big names and rising talent. Tournament number one seed and world No. 6 Alexander Zverev of Germany survived a robust challenge and lifted his 21st ATP Tour-Level title in Chengdu for the first time.
