
IMG secures rights to Broadcast FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ on Sport 24 through DAZN sublicensing deal

IMG, a leading global sports marketing agency, today announced it has secured the rights to broadcast the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ to the inflight and cruise markets, in a deal negotiated with DAZN. The sublicense agreement grants IMG the live rights to broadcast more than 55 matches and 115+ hours of coverage from the tournament on the Sport 24 channels globally.
The newly expanded format for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will feature 32 teams, with games hosted across 12 iconic venues in the United States. The tournament has confirmed some of the world’s biggest teams to compete including, Chelsea FC, Manchester City, Real Madrid CF, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, FC Bayern Munich, Flamengo, Inter Miami and Al Hilal. The FIFA Club World Cup will be broadcast globally and for free across DAZN.com.
The addition of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 follows the huge success of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 on Sport 24. The former saw 172 live hours broadcast on Sport 24 & Sport 24 Extra with over 1.4 million passengers tuning in to watch inflight.
The tournament joins a packed schedule of live sport on Sport 24’s channels this Summer, alongside the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, the Wimbledon Championships, The Open, and Formula 1. It is also the latest addition to Sport 24’s extensive live football coverage, which includes the FIFA World Cup 26™, Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Nations League, and the AFC Asian Cup.
