The BKT EuroCup – managed by the EuroLeague basketball – is the second- biggest basketball competition in Europe.
The EuroCup format consist of 2 groups of 10 teams playing in the regular season with a guaranteed 18-game package each. The league then moves to a single-game elimination format, with 6 teams of each group qualifying for the final phase. Teams progressing to the semi-finals and final then compete in a best-of-three format and try to get their golden ticket for EuroLeague in the following season.
Teams from 14 different countries will be playing in the upcoming season, with the arrival of Baxi Manresa,
Neptunas Klaipeda, Niners Chemnitz, Panionios Athens and the return of the London Lions. In the past editions, the title has been won by 14 different clubs with Valencia topping the charts with 4 titles.
